it's kinda surprising that I actually make the effort to blog again - it's more like just an adrenaline rush to it.

it's been years since I came back here, a lot of things have happened and gone and if I were to single them out one by one, I think you will be sleeping like nobody's business even before you have finish reading this post. LOL

Oh ya, before I start, for the benefit of the others that didn't know, my status has been changed from civilian to NSF already. HAHA.

So I will just start randomly on Christmas celeb. With the usual clique, we went to NTU to celebrate instead of hanging out enjoying the x'mas atmosphere. Had a self-made steamboat in mingkwang's hostel (credits to mingkwang!), though the soup base could be further improved; the whole night was awesome :D Following next is the surprise celeb of my birthday! (thanks alot for you guys preparation!) haha. that's should be about it for that....

Next would be new years' celeb. Went out with my poly mates this time, a total of 5 of us. A new experience - went to pump room at Clarke Quay to sort of party out and countdown? lol. One word to comment on the ambience in there - TERRIFIC. 5 of us, one driver so can't drink, one cannot drink so much, and we opened a bottle -.- LOL. Hang around there till closing, then my friend drives us back to hougang for mac breakfast to sober up abit first before heading home :D

Another important issue in my life - POP! On 7th Jan, we started out the freedom march of 24 km. Several times feeling like giving up, but I hang in there. Tough, but we made it. This is where boys become men. where our shoulders were toughened up to shoulder future heavy responsibilities in our life - becoming a responsible person. It was a mixed feeling at the moment when the caps were being thrown up into the sky. 4 months, countless trainings, laughter, ups and downs - one unbreakable bond forged.

Awaiting for my next phrase of NS life, would it be heaven or hell? I wouldn't dare to hope much for it.

20 months to ORD sucks.

am i still the same as before? or is it just the same old me from the past. I can't seem to figure it out...

LOL. here I am back so fast with another post.
actually nothing much, just something like food for thought ba.

Just saw the video of the Laos trip in 2009 by the others.. then is like so much memories starting to recall back. From the cambodia trip, I could still remember some of the things that we had done there with our friends, crapping, going out to buy food and drinks, trying new stuffs, taking care of one another when in need etc. It just seems like its only been yesterday. Same with other trips as well, it seems nice reminiscing of the good old times (: then my friend has been considered confirmed to go to Shanghai to work in the Expo event for 7 months ! that bloody guy is damn lucky cuz he completed his NS and he has an advantage. haha. haiz, gotta earn some bloody $$ before gg overseas uh ! btw.. I didnt see OURS video during the cambodia trip.. where is it ?

hello !

quite a few events lah.. but some forget already. can't remember the dates, so just note down some of them ba :D

Pulau Ubin. okay, went there for a site visit. then ! had a meal over there, but it wasnt really nice. the nice stall didnt open that day. haiz. but its a nice getaway for sat or sun morning uh. people ! can consider this place, cycling. ! hah.

Napfa Test. okay, no need to say, i guess its kinda obvious of the result. Fail lor, due to pull ups and standing broad jumps. The rest still not bad leh, give me fake hope thought i can pass. Then when at the 2 sections = chui. LOL.

Then after that, went to JB to attend relative's wedding dinner. not bad uh ! its been quite sometime since I've met up with my cousins, so I stayed one more night at there till sunday. sorry James ! yah. anyway my cousin drove us around for supper and we did some window shopping. relaxed trip ! haha.

Airport trip. This one is to collect some information and to observe some service stuffs. anyway this project is about service quality. Then we went to ask questions like the prices and all those, and I found out it's going to be kinda cheap for the air tickets during march ! haha. then I see all those people checking in for their boarding pass, then I was wondering wth am I doing there hahaha. After that, wrapped up and we went back to school to do projects.

yup, thats about it. quizzes and project deadlines are coming up within the next 2 weeks ! but this is probably the last run in the poly life le, suddenly like everything is moving so fast. like playing a tape and fastforwarding it o.o

Well..

With a blink of an eye, it has come to the end of 2009. Abit exaggerating though lol.

A lot of things happen in this year, like the oversea trips. Be it attachment or personal. But all of them are great ! All of them are memories that will be kept for the rest of my life, I think. lol.
Of course, life is full of ups and downs. The "downs", should be thrown away with the parting of year 2009.

Alright, for this year end, we count downed our last min towards 2010 at East Coast Park. We had a evening picnic with some of the juniors who have came and joined us. Games were played and tau pok was done to all the guys. In the end, all sandy ._. haha. Then, the last min came, and we count down not only verbally, but in our hearts as well. The last second was arriving, and I had mixed feelings about it. I kept quiet, thinking back of the things I have done during this year and trying to enjoy the last moment of 2009. Finally, the last second of year 2009 has passed, and the flares was fired up into the dark sky. It was a beautiful sight, and everyone is cheering and enjoying themselves. I sat down, closing my eyes, and said "goodbye 2009" in my heart. Then, I stand up, smiled and wished everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR ! haha(:

For this year, some major changes will happen....
Firstly, graduation from TP. which leads to NS. Finally stepping into this stage of life. Hope that everything goes well !

Updates... updates...

8th Dec to 12th Dec
Again ! Holiday to Malaysia ! haha. but this time went to KL and Malacca.
Overall was okay, nothing much special, and nothing too bad about it :D
Some of it I think I have forgotten, but I will write down those I could remember ~

KL - went over to the Petrona Twin Towers, have to queue for the tickets as they only allow 800 people up everyday~ so they will bring you to see a 3D show, and after that you will go up to the 41th or 42th floor (can't remember) where the bridge lies. then pictures~ Next, walking around at Time Squares. It was huge, with the largest indoor theme park in SE Asia. didn't play it, cause on budget hah !

Malacca - visiting to some historical places like the Nyonya Museum and others. Their nyonya chendol is damn nice ! the coconut sugar is very sweet lol. their chicken rice balls wasn't that bad as well~ They have a weekend night market as well, located at the Jonkers street. It is long as well, and very crowded unlike Singapore's pasar malam (night market).

Hmm.. this trip is more on shopping (for the rest), so nothing much to write down as well. but at least I had experiences of travelling in Malaysia without taxi ! :D

Just wna share something with you guys...

Actually after viewing James post about the show named We Got Married (WGM), I went to watch it and its very heartening ! this story goes like this: starring Kim Hyun Joong & HwangBo, they were pronounced as "married" (but in fact they didnt) and lived together as a couple. Btw Kim was younger by 6 years old to Hwang. And they will aired their activities and living details on show. They lived together for 8 months, thus there were alot of funny yet touching moments created by them. Also, there isnt only one couple inside this show - there were 4 couples together. From there, you can see their competitions and how they treat their couples and also some "arguments", either a real one or fake one. At the ending, it was kinda sad as they began to develop real feelings for each other, I guessed, and they had to separate due to their hectic schedules. This has been my favourite entertainment show for the past 2 days, and here I am to recommend to you guys to watch this show if you guys have the time (:

After the hard times, there will be laughter too.

Hmm.. quite a few things happened though lol.

Went down to the NS medical checkup on the 19 Nov. The process was bloody long lol, especially the quiz section. totally spent around an hour or so sitting at the computer doing IQ questions. The rest were still okay lah, not so long either. I think cuz its still early in the morning ba.

then 20 Nov. Judgement day. and I meant it lol cuz its my MP judging day. Then during other presentations of other teams, we heard the judges keep on scolding and scolding. Then we of course all stressed up. However, things turned out quite fine though I stammered in the beginning. What a waste !

23 Nov. SRSCO camp at SRS ! quite nostalgic lol but alot of new faces. okay today happens like this. Actually i didnt know today they have a camp until jason told me on sunday when we wanted to play basketball at SRS after the co practice. so, I went down after my lessons at school on monday to pack some stuffs to prepare to stay overnight with Jason at SRS. Well, it turns out to be quite fun also, as we saw some seniors coming back for the bbq and stuffs. then after that, a few had to leave and the rest of us played card games like heart attack. yup, we were all shouting and laughing hardly in the middle of the night. LOL. quite a few funny encounters, like people starting to accidentally poke others with their finger nails and stuffs. that night, I stayed up for quite sometime (which is a miracle) and slept for around an hour before gg for breakfast with Jason on the next day. And today is my quiz which is worth 20% ._.

24 Nov. The quiz again went well ! haha, lucky me. It didnt came up with a lot of difficult questions, kinda basic. Then after school, went back to SRS again. Helped them to da bao some dinner, and saw a few more seniors coming to stay. then, we had night co practice, and after that we had some crazy tunes and beats lolol cuz its way too fast. then we had some card games as well, and I cannot take it alr (like finally) cuz too long nv sleep luh. so went up to rest, and the next day morning, home sweet home :D

Hmm, that sums up most of the things I have done within this week. And this weekend is a LONG weekend ! hah. alright then, takecare people !

But the tutorials are long..... dunno if i'm gonna sleep through LOL ! Hope it doesn't get too dry and boring !

Hey people !

I'm back from Langkawi ! (: Time for some updates..........

Overall, the travel experience is great ! well, it does when we are travelling with friends ~~ but we overbudgeted ourselves in order to gain some new experience !

12th Oct:

We landed safely at around 3 plus instead of 2 plus in Langkawi due to flight delay~ then we took a cab to our resort to put down our luggage. We were all damn hungry that time ! and so we went down the street and found a nice cafe run by caucasians, the food was super nice with all that gravy and stuff, and they were friendly too ! after that, we went to buy some neccessities and stock up some food back into our room. Then we bought this 24 cans of beer, we challenged ourselves to finish it before we leave~ today was only for settling down as more activities come ahead....

13th Oct:

Left early in the morning for their breakfast buffet ! not bad though, hah. of course, we didnt wake up early just for that breakfast.... we were up for snorkelling ! at an island named Pulau Panyat. It was a "wow" for us as the water is crystal clear and the beach are clean as well. As the sun was high up, we did a little sun tanning when snorkelling as well ! There, we can see different kinds of fishes, and baby sharks as well ~~ but one thing is, if you wander a little far, the bigger fishes will bite you and is a little irritating though LOL ! then, we went up for the next challenge - scuba diving ! that was a totally awesome experience ! although it was only a short amount of 20 mins, we are able to see those beautiful corals, schools of fishes, and nemo ( clown fish ) ! truly, an experience not to be missed ~ after that, we reach our resort around 5 plus, and decided to rest for the day.......

14th Oct:

Went to Cenang Beach for sun tanning initially ! (btw, the beach was a tourism destination) but we went there, we decided to go for..... jet ski ! The jet ski was 1500cc, almost similar to a car ! and when I say going for jet ski, I mean that we are the drivers ! it was so thrilling as we sped across the sea for 40 to 50 km/hr ! after that, the person in charge gave us a discount, and we go for the banana boat, where all sorts of funny things happen hahahahah. For example, people kicking other people's head as they fall into the water, LOL ! then, after these activities, we head back to our resort to sun tan, thereafter headed for the pool to swim~~~ with that, we went back to change and prepare to go for the cable car ride... but it was closed ! it was then we realised that it actually operates until evening timing... so we make plans for tmr for all the places that we wna go, and we headed for sunburn cooling spa after that as we were all "burned" hahaha.......

15th Oct:

Woke up early again ! same thing, we headed for our breakfast, and we set off to the cable car. That was an breathtaking experience, because the air was so refreshing when we were way high up in the mountains, with the height of 600 plus meters. Then we went further up - to 700 plus meters to take pictures of us and the scenery. At there, you must go to the bridge that is hanging between mountains. Its abit scary though, cause when you look down, you see yourself standing in between 2 mountains with that height. And the bridge shakes when the wind blows~~ nonetheless, we took pictures at the bridge as well as part of a "proof" that we were there (: The Oriental Village that was beside the cable car, we had a walk around it and we decided to go for the fish spa, but it was closed down for renovation :( thus, we left the place. but when we are at near the exit, there was a place for feeding rabbits, and we bought some carrots to feed them. They are damn cute man, as they hop beside you to wait for you to feed them. Next, we went to Kuar - a place to walk around and shop, but there isn't much things to look around and the prices are about the same. Then, we had KFC for our dinner with 15 pcs of chicken (LOL) before we head back to the nearby shops beside our resort to purchase things..........

16th Oct:

Woke up around 8 a.m and went down for the breakfast. Then we went back to pack our stuffs before heading off to the airport. Upon reaching, we realised that we are a little early, and we go to starbucks for coffee. yeah, we didn't know it has an outlet over there, but it did. And then, home sweet home !

Hah, I guess I didn't left out the major activities during this trip ! but that was kinda summarised. With that, our holiday trip has come to an end~~~

That's about it guys !

Hmm !

Today marks the end of my whole semester attachment !

So, have to post it in office although it's early whaha. This whole semester of attachment, I can say that I have learnt quite a few useful things from my supervisors. Mostly on Green Mark ba. For the Vietnam trip, didn't really learn much hahaha. ( not of the time management ah whereby I can plan my things well in order to... LOL )

Finally finishing. This sem is really tiring though. Heading towards the end of poly's life.

When something ends, it's always filled with mixed feelings - but there's nothing that would never end.

28 Sept 09

Went down to K student with Jason, YL, Zhiyan... at around 5 plus, there was a power surge, i guess the whole building was affected. then as usual, alot of people making noise.... ._. but after awhile, they resumed back. Some of the people didnt know how to adjust, then is like we alr sang finish a few songs they still haven started LOL. okay la, overall kinda enjoyed ourselves ! after that, James joined us for dinner and activities at my house ! hah.

29 Sept 09

A plan of gg to Wild Wild Wet ! With the attendees - Jason, James, Angie, YL, Angele and me; we went down happily to our destination. To our surprise, WWW is closed on tuesdayy............................................ LOL
Nonetheless, we change our plans and went cycling ! And... We tried dunno how many routes and means and ways to go to Changi side but to no avail....... LOL
Thus, we decided to just ride towards another direction - the left side of the park. We stopped occasionally for drinks and the playground, where we once again entered the realms of childhood - by playing crocodile and ice and water. Well, it does bring back some memories hah. Next, we moved on to the "spinning counter" whereby all of us will sit and using the weight to maneuver the whole spinning platform. Some of us were affected by the "spinning", feeling giddy afterwards haha ! then, on to swings ! where we can see people competing and trying to "sabo" others by pushing them higher and higher hohoho~

Then, we returned our bike with almost an hour late but the uncle charges us half an hour. Thanks man ! lol. we washed up and had our dinner at Just Acia with free flow of soft drinks, coffee and icecream, before heading to Jason house for some activities =p

Quite happening uh ? within these 2 days lol. Things are gg to get more exciting as the days drew near ! right guys ! whaha.

Just woke up not long ago, have to blog it down before my memory fades hah.

yesterday was one laughable night.
To cut the story short, we had a skittles (the sour one) showdown last night ! lol

We played big 2 (dai dee) and our forfeit for the winning person is skittles ! Depends on the number of cards we lost, the winner has to eat the number of skittles/2 with the number of cards still in hand for everyone.

Which means that 3 players add up the number of cards/2 = number of skittles to be eaten.

And... with a highest record of 8 deadly sour skittles at one go, Sherwyn Ng yapben a.k.a Sherwyn Ng bee seng a.k.a bu sai a.k.a ji bu sai (LOLOL) is prestigely crowned as the champion for the night ! hahahah. This is based on the overall performance, as Sherwyn has eaten more than 20 skittles for the whole game, with the runner-up as me ._.

Pictures of being "soured" ? Ask from Jason, our "un-glam" photographer of that night. but i guess he will post it up hah !

oh, finally this is my first post. (the previous one doesn't count)

Decided to blog after such a long time, which i felt abit weird ? lol, credits to YL and James for this to happen hah

Went to meet up with Jason, YL, James at City Hall after work to collect YL's stuff before heading to MOF for our dinner at Marina Square.

Suddenly my brain just jammed here, without any idea what should i cont LOL

*Back to topic*

The food wasn't that bad, just that my order had a little more chill pepper which causes me to choke and sound weird ._. and YL, Jason and me went to make their members' card cause of its attractive benefits (actually YL just wna get his free dessert as it's his birthday month HAH)

Then we went around looking for YL's film for his camera before gg to the game machine for some try of luck to get some soft toys which we failed to do so..... After hanging around there, without much things to do either, we went back home.

now i'm just looking forward to the trip, it's coming sooon ! =]
